2024 Loggers Trail Golf Leagues
Loggers Trail host numerous golf leagues. All shapes and sizes; 9-Hole, 18-Hole, Men, Women, Couples, Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Small, Medium, Large, half season, Weekly, Bi weekly, and Monthly. We had 18 golf leagues play at Loggers Trail in 2024. We take great pride in our leagues, and fully realize the value that each and every league brings. With all of our leagues we try and have the same pro shop staff, beverage cart staff, and ranger for your league for the duration of the season. We want to create a familiar experience for your league, and develop a relationship that will better serve your needs.

MONDAY NIGHT WOMEN’S LEAGUE
Monday Evening Ladies League at Loggers Trail
Our evening league begins at 4:00 pm to accommodate ladies who may have tighter schedules. Our leagues are fun and relaxing with camaraderie and enjoyment in mind.
Our league dues this season which includes your GHIN Handicap & Prize Fees is $75 per player. All payouts are paid back through club credit that can be used in the golf shop or in the grill. Club credit expires on December 31st.
Players are welcome to sign up as a single, twosome, threesome or a full foursome. We will pair you with other players to fill out your group.
Tee Times for regular league rounds will begin at 4pm and run consecutively based on the number of ladies in the league. These tee times are will be flexible with sign ups occurring on a google sheet to allow maximum flexibility.
There will be 16 weeks for this year’s golf season. The league play will begin on Monday, May 6th and run through Monday, August 26th.
The league format will be social and non-competitive with a weekly game and proximity prizes.
The weekly fee will be $27 greens fee. Carts $12 are optional.

Men’s Senior Flex League
When: Tuesday and Thursday mornings each week during the golf season.
Loggers Trail is again going to host age 55+ Senior Leagues during the 2024 golf season. The Flex means you can play in either league or both, as often as you want. There will be daily prizes in each league and a season long competition for year-end prizes. The format of the leagues will generally follow the format used by the MGA Senior Tour which uses modified stableford scoring. We will also mix in some other fun games as the season goes on.
Schedule:
The 2024 Season will start when the Staff determines the golf course is ready for play (and the weather cooperates).
League banquet: The date for the league banquet will be announced later. Several prizes will be awarded to the top point winners for the season and several great door prizes for league participants. (To be eligible for door prizes a player needs to play at least 10 times during the season.)
Costs: Special Senior League Greens Fees $37 Cart fee: $19 per player (players may walk or ride)
League Registration: $75 Which covers entry into both Tuesday and Thursday leagues and GHIN Handicap. If you have an MGA handicap elsewhere, your registration is $50.
Daily Event Fee: $3
Prizes: Pro Shop prizes will be awarded for daily winners. Season long prizes will be awarded at the end of the year event. The season long prizes will be awarded separately for Tuesday and Thursday league play. Daily prizes will be Pro Shop Credit posted to your account. Pro Shop credit can be used for any Loggers Trail fees or purchases.
Tee Times: For most of the season the first tee time will be 8:30 am. You can show up as an individual or as a group. For individual players, the starter will pair you up. We will have a starter during each round to ensure play gets started and moving accordingly.
The Modified Stableford scoring system is simple. Points are awarded each hole, based on both gross and net score. 1 point for bogey, 2 points for par, 3 points for birdie, 4 points for eagle, and 5 points for double eagle. This is a fun way to score. Make a 10 on a hole and you get 0 points same as a double bogey. One or two bad holes doesn’t ruin the round. It also promotes faster play because if you are having a bad hole you can just put it in your pocket. All you need to do is record your gross score and the Pro Shop will figure out your Stableford points. Just make sure your name on the scorecard is readable.
Points will be awarded based on the number of players each day. For example, if 28 guys show up, 28 points for 1st place, 27 points for 2nd place, and 36 points for 3rd place, all the way down to 1 point for 28th place. Players can continue to accumulate points up to the year-end events.

Tuesday Lumberjack League Babe the Blue Ox Division
There will be Players of the Year in each division of the Lumberjack League. The point system is similar to the “Fed Ex Cup” points system in professional golf.
Game Formats
There will be a game(s) each week that award individual points. The formats will be individual or team events, with gross and net games. There will also be hole contests each night as well (winners of these contests will win pro shop credit). Most games will be played from the WHITE tees! Also, each group will be playing with same golfers each week. We hope that everyone enjoys each other’s company!
The Lumberjack League registration fee will be $150. The fee will include:
- GHIN Handicap
- Weekly Prize fee
- League End Banquet and Prizes
Wednesday Women’s 18-Hole League
Focus on Growth:
Our primary focus for the 2024 season and beyond is growth. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all skill levels, promoting camaraderie, and fostering a love for the game. Our goal is to make our leagues both fun and competitive, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all participants.
Here’s how the 2024 Women’s Leagues at Loggers Golf Club will work:
- League Fees: The league registration fee is $75. This fee covers league expenses, including prize payouts, and includes a GHIN handicap. On the day of league play, greens fees are $37, with an additional $19 for a power cart. If you already have a GHIN handicap, your league fee is reduced to $50.
- Associate Membership: All league participants will qualify for an Associates Membership, through the league fee, allowing them to make tee times up to 14 days in advance.
- League Schedule: League play will take place on Wednesdays, with tee times starting at 8 am and an additional tee time available at 2 pm.
- Sign-Ups: We will continue to use the Google Tee Sheet for sign-ups, managed by the club. For members who have difficulty using the Google Tee Sheet, phone sign-ups are available, preferably the week before league play.
- Weekly Events: The club will organize weekly events, and we welcome all suggestions from our members.
- Club-Sponsored Events: We plan to host a club-sponsored kick-off event and an end-of-year celebration, providing additional opportunities for fun, camaraderie and feedback.
- Bring a Guest Day: We still intend to host bring-a-guest days, and there will be fun games for all!

Women’s Thursday Morning 9-Hole League
9 hole women’s league tees off on Thursday mornings starting at 8 AM. You can sign up for any of several tee times This is a fun league with weekly events flighted by handicap so golfers of all experience levels are included. We also have monthly shot gun starts followed by a social lunch held at various restaurants in the area.
